Never having written children's fiction before I will have to do some research first but I was thinking of writing Star's backstory which was the basis for my final assignment on my writing course. It will be urban fantasy and will definitely have at least one of these...
Just checking...
ReplyDeleteDouble checking. And a writing competition is supposed to be a good thing for aspiring writers. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Pippa. I think it will be good motivation to have a target :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck Chantal!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Star's backstory
Just testing

Hurray! I had a look at the Worpress forum and saw that it might be a browser issue. So cleared browser history and cookies but I use Chrome and it still wouldn't work. So I am now logged in via Internet Explorer and it worked. But it should be possible via Chrome. I can comment on everyone else's. It's just weird.

Thanks for stopping by my six sentence sunday and commenting! :)
ReplyDeleteNo prob - it looks like fun :)
ReplyDeleteSix sentence is great fun!
ReplyDeleteAgain, thanks for stopping by and commenting on the novella. Yes, I think I need to insert some kind of panel under the writing and over the image on the back cover - need to play with the image software some more. And you don't like the guy on there? Hmmmm. The nova background looks kind of empty without something on there, and I have a bit of an obsession with putting faces on covers. He looks very much like the person I had in my head. lol.
The nice thing about self-pubbing an e-book is you can keep changing the cover. :-P
Oh, and I never thought about the Sidhe! I actually got the name from a car numberplate when I was stuck for an idea, lol!
ReplyDeleteI don't like random anonymous man-chests on covers either but it doesn't seem to put me off! Also I rarely look at the cover of an e-book, it usually just goes straight to chapter one!
